Good Morning!
The snowstorm has passed and we’re now enjoying a beautiful, sunny (albeit, cold) winter Thursday. I love living in the Adirondacks!
A Sunday Storm Last Sunday
Last Sunday our church service attendance was hampered by a terrible, winter storm. Kind of fitting for Cabin Fever Sunday! 75 brave hearts got out and we treated to a great service and a fantastic picnic dinner!
Giving to a Worthy Cause
Sunday also saw us giving people an opportunity to give or pledge toward the parsonage demolition that is costing us somewhere in the vicinity of $25,000. I am happy to announce that we pledged and raised 20% toward our goal that morning ($4,995). And since Sunday, an additional $250 has been sent in the mail. This $5,245 will help us get started on the project and enable us to borrow less money to finish the job. If you missed out, we’ll repeat the announcement on Sunday and you can give or pledge then. Thank you for standing by your church!
Gabryel Cauffiel is Here!
Josh and Bobbye are pleased to announce that Baby Gabryel was born this morning weighing in at 10 lbs, 4.4 ounces. He’s also 21″ long!
It’s a great time to be serving the Lord at Vantage Pointe and I’m glad we’re doing it together!
See you on Sunday,
Pastor Dean
